Shadows Of Thornkeep

Shadows of Thornkeep is a rogue-lite, grid-based dungeon crawler with a strong emphasis on looting and party progression.

You wake up in a place called Thornkeep, nothing more than a patch of land and a small camp on a rocky beach, surrounded by dense thicket. And you are being watched. Watched by the Soul Dealer himself, illuminated by the eerie glow of his lantern. He offers you the souls of others, reanimated to assist you in your conquest through these cursed lands. Perhaps, along the way, you’ll discover who you are and how to escape this forsaken place.

SOT is a personal passion project - a love letter to the games I admired as a kid. I spent countless hours staring at screenshots in gaming magazines, dreaming of playing them but unable to, until many years later when I finally got my first PC. This game doesn’t aim to be the best or the next big thing in the genre. Instead, it was designed to be minimalistic, humble, and exactly what I always imagined those games to be.

The game is currently in its early Alpha stage, so expect plenty of bugs, placeholder assets, a rough UI, and an AI generated soundtrack that will gradually be replaced by humanmade tracks as development progresses toward full release.

Installation

Is quite simple, just download thornkeep.exe. Its self extracting zipfile so just put it wherever you want the game and let it unpack itself. Once its unpacked, run Thornkeep.exe from the Thornkeep folder(got unity icon) and enjoy.
